It contains plenty of information concerning politics, economics, entertainment, social events, culture, literature, sport and many others. The posts are written by professional journalists and people who don’t have deep knowledge and skills in journalism and mass media, but who have useful information and want to share it with other bloggers.

This site is a perfect example of a participatory journalism via internet because here people have an opportunity to interchange the information. Some of them collaborate with each other, commenting posts, asking and giving recommendations. It is not mandatory to be a professional journalist in order to make a post. If you have a few words to say, do it. Everyone has equal opportunity to publish a post. Blogging.kz doesn’t have restrictions and limitations about what to write. Anything you are interested in can be written on the site.

For today blogging.kz has 33 blogs and 3989 posts and these amounts are constantly rising. It reflects the understanding of convenience and importance of online participatory journalism among people. It saves time and efforts in comparison with traditional print, TV or radio journalism. People not just users but participants, and that encourages them to write their selves.

Everyday site is refreshing and new posts are added. Site has very convenient structure: all posts are divided and categorized according to chronological order and subjects, so that you can quickly and easily find needed information.

However, it has shortcomings as well. Since there is no restrictions and nobody revises posts they may contain unreliable facts. Also there are many “junk” posts, that can not be useful. Furthermore, In a certain degree it does not completely correspond to definition of a source of online participatory journalism because some people do not understand the main meaning. They use the site in other ways such as seeking people, I think there are a lot of other sites specially earmarked for this purpose.

Online prticipatory journalism is a child of technological progress. It is unique achievemnet in mass media and it is wonderful that it’s taking place in Kazakhstan also through blogging.kz and others.

My communities

None of the peole can exist alone, it’s the nature of human beings. Physically and psychologically people can’t live separately from each other. Let’s turn to history, simply to get a food ancient people had to collaborate in order to kill big animals, all of them were interdependent from each other. Society dominates individuals, we are all members of community, we are part of social groups whether we want it or not.

Our family, friends, university, place of work – all are the examples of community. Various kinds of social networks have different aims and models of behavior. For instance, inside your family you are expected to take care of your relatives, love them and support them. Communicating with friends is a sort of entertainment, and in a certain degree similar to family. During studying process we get a knowledge, discovering something new. So, at the same time we are participating in several communities.

One of the main community in my life is my friends. I think, everyone needs a friends, people whom you trust, you can rely on and ask for advice. My friends is that community which helps me to self realize. I also have a role in such a social group – being a friend, I have some duties in order to remain a member of this network.

Nowadays, in the period of scientific and technological progress, appears new kind of community – online community, it gaves a lot of opportunities. Invention of worldwide web allows us to contact people wherever they are, that is one of the main advantage of online community. Futhermore, you can be an anonymous member and it is much easier to communicate with people. I’m also a member of online network. There is very popular and wide-spread site www.vkontakte.ru, I have a profile there and I participate in different groups like “Business club”, “Beyonce Knowles’s fans” and so on. It saves my time and it’s very convenient, but I really believe that it can not substitute real live communication.

My understanding of journalism

Journalism is very important part of our social life. We live in the century of technology and information and in order to success we need to be well informed. Journalists help us to know what is happening in the world, and thanks to up-to-date technologies we can get any information we need, just by clicking the buttons.

Nowadays appears other types of journalism, on line journalism, Tv journalism, radio, print and so on. Today is the “Golden age” of journalism because it is widely spread all over the world. News are very demanded in our modern time especially when new information technologies arecreated everytime.

The Secret

Year ago I watched the film that turned my life absolutely in another direction. It changed not only my minds, but the way of thinking as a whole. Thanks to it I found out how to get happiness by myself, how to make the dreams come true. The name of this film is “The Secret”.

I even couldn’t imagine that it can be so easy and simple. I already knew about “feng shui”, psychology based on positive way of thinking but it seemed so unreal and unapplicable in modern conditions. This movie explains these things in the science’s point of view, applying to metha physics, philosophy and psychology the authors open the secret to people. It teaches how to dream, how to achieve the wishes.
